Behavioral Health Services

Helping individuals and families build healthier lives through compassionate care.

Substance Abuse Recovery

Our Substance Use Recovery services provide compassionate, individualized support for individuals working to overcome substance use and build a healthier, more stable life. We focus on recovery, relapse prevention, personal growth, and connecting individuals with the resources they need to move forward.

Substance Use Recovery

Our Substance Use Recovery services are designed to support individuals as they work toward recovery from alcohol and other substance use. Treatment is individualized according to each person's needs and may include counseling, recovery planning, education, relapse-prevention strategies, and connection to additional behavioral health or community resources.

We recognize that recovery is a journey, not a single event. Our approach focuses on helping individuals understand the challenges associated with substance use, strengthen healthy coping skills, identify personal recovery goals, and develop strategies for maintaining progress. When additional services are appropriate, we work to connect individuals with the appropriate level of care and community-based supports.

Individual Counseling

Individual Counseling provides a private, supportive environment where individuals can explore personal challenges, behavioral health concerns, relationships, and goals. Our counseling approach is individualized to help clients develop healthier coping strategies and make meaningful progress toward wellness.

Individual Counseling

Individual counseling gives clients an opportunity to work one-on-one with a qualified behavioral health professional in a confidential and supportive setting. Sessions may address concerns related to substance use, emotional well-being, relationships, life transitions, stress, coping skills, decision-making, and other challenges affecting daily functioning.

Together, the client and counselor can identify goals, explore barriers to progress, develop practical coping strategies, and work toward improved stability and wellness. Counseling services are based on the individual's assessed needs and treatment goals.

Family Counseling

Coming soon

Family Counseling helps individuals and families strengthen communication, address challenges, and develop healthier relationships. We provide a supportive environment where families can work together toward greater understanding, stability, and wellness.

Family Counseling

Substance use and behavioral health challenges can affect more than the individual—they can impact spouses, children, parents, caregivers, and other important relationships. Family counseling provides an opportunity for family members and natural supports to better understand these challenges while developing healthier communication and coping strategies.

Depending on the individual's needs and treatment plan, sessions may focus on communication, relationship challenges, family dynamics, boundaries, support for recovery, problem-solving, and developing a stronger support system. Our goal is to help families become constructive partners in the recovery and wellness process.

Case Management

Case Management helps individuals navigate the healthcare and community systems by connecting them with appropriate services, resources, and supports. We help reduce barriers to care and promote continuity throughout the individual's treatment and recovery journey.

Case Management

Our Case Management services are designed to help individuals identify and access resources that support their health, stability, and recovery. Depending on individual needs, case management may include coordinating behavioral health services, connecting individuals with community resources, assisting with referrals, and helping address barriers that may interfere with treatment or daily functioning.

Case managers work collaboratively with individuals, providers, families or designated supports, and community organizations when appropriate. The goal is to help individuals navigate available resources, maintain continuity of care, and make meaningful progress toward the goals identified in their individualized treatment plan. AHCCCS describes case management as including coordination of care, assistance with resources, and continuity across services and providers.

Re-Entry Program

Coming Soon

Our Re-Entry Program supports individuals as they transition back into the community following incarceration or justice-system involvement. Through individualized support, recovery services, life-skills development, and connections to community resources, we help participants build a stronger foundation for stability and successful reintegration.

Re-Entry Program

Returning to the community after incarceration can present significant challenges, including reconnecting with family, securing employment and housing, accessing healthcare, managing substance-use or behavioral health concerns, and rebuilding a stable daily routine. Our Re-Entry Program provides individualized support designed to help participants navigate these challenges and develop the skills and connections needed to move forward.

Services may include individual counseling, substance-use recovery support, case management, peer support, life-skills development, resource navigation, and connections to healthcare, employment, housing, education, and other community-based resources, based on the individual's assessed needs and treatment plan. We work alongside participants to establish realistic goals, strengthen healthy decision-making and coping skills, reconnect with supportive relationships, and build a sustainable path toward wellness, independence, and positive community living.

Life Skills Development

Life Skills Development helps individuals build practical skills for managing everyday responsibilities, making healthy decisions, and functioning more independently. Services focus on strengthening confidence, problem-solving, communication, and skills that support long-term stability.Brief description

Life Skills Development

Life Skills Development focuses on practical skills that can help individuals function more effectively at home, in the community, and in other areas of daily life. Depending on individual needs and treatment goals, skill development may include communication, problem-solving, decision-making, stress management, organization, healthy routines, interpersonal skills, and other areas that support recovery and independence.

Our approach is practical and individualized. Rather than simply identifying challenges, we work with individuals to develop skills they can practice and apply in everyday situations. AHCCCS recognizes rehabilitation and support services that may include living skills, education support, and health-promotion activities.

Peer Support Services

Peer Support Services connect individuals with trained peer professionals who use their own lived experience of behavioral health or substance use recovery to provide encouragement, guidance, and support. Peer support helps individuals strengthen recovery goals, overcome barriers, and build meaningful connections.

Peer Support Services

Peer Support Services provide individuals with the opportunity to receive support from a trained Peer and Recovery Support Specialist with lived experience of behavioral health or substance use recovery. Peer support is centered on encouragement, connection, education, coaching, role modeling, and helping individuals identify and pursue their own recovery goals.

Peer support may assist individuals with reducing isolation, accessing community resources, exploring education or employment opportunities, overcoming barriers to services, and developing practical strategies for maintaining recovery. AHCCCS specifically describes peer support as a recovery-oriented service based on shared experience, and Arizona requires PRSS providers delivering reimbursable peer services to meet applicable training, credentialing, and supervision requirements.

Community Outreach

Our Community Outreach services connect individuals, families, and community partners with information, resources, and pathways to behavioral health and recovery services. We work to reduce barriers to care and promote awareness, prevention, wellness, and community support.

Community Outreach

Community Outreach extends our commitment to wellness beyond the walls of our clinic. Through outreach and community partnerships, we seek to connect individuals and families with appropriate behavioral health, substance use, healthcare, social-service, and community resources based on their identified needs.

Our outreach efforts may include education, resource navigation, community partnerships, referrals, engagement activities, and efforts to increase awareness of available services. We believe strong community partnerships can help individuals access support earlier, reduce barriers to care, and strengthen the network of resources available to individuals and families.

Why Our Services Matter

Recovery is more than addressing a single challenge—it is about helping individuals build the stability, skills, relationships, and support systems needed to move forward. At United Nations Wellness Center, we believe meaningful care begins by seeing the whole person and understanding that every individual’s journey is different. Our services are designed to meet people where they are, address their unique needs, and provide practical support as they work toward greater health, wellness, independence, and long-term recovery.

From counseling and substance use recovery to case management, peer support, life-skills development, and community outreach, our services work together to address the many factors that can affect an individual’s well-being. We strive to create a supportive environment where individuals and families can develop healthier coping strategies, strengthen relationships, overcome barriers, connect with valuable resources, and build a stronger foundation for their future.

Care That Meets You Where You Are
We understand that no two individuals or recovery journeys are exactly alike. Services are individualized based on each person’s assessed needs, treatment plan, eligibility, and applicable program requirements. Availability of services may vary by program, funding source, referral, and payer requirements. Our goal is to help each individual access the appropriate services and supports necessary to take the next step toward wellness and recovery.
